Today is the first day of 2010. I am excited because I know that this year is going to be different. Numbers are very important to God. E. W. Bullinger's book, Number in Scripture is perhaps the most known book on Biblical numerology.
In his book, he uses scripture and biblical events to show the meaning of numbers. He says that 10 signifies the perfection of divine order. He writes, "it implies that nothing is wanting; that the number and order are perfect; that the whole cycle is complete."
What does this mean for this year? It means that God will perfect and complete the good work that he has begun in our lives.

Sandra received a masters degree in journalism from Columbia University in 2008 and a bachelors degree in print journalism from the University of Miami in 2006.
